Expresso Dance Animation

Expresso Dance Anim

This animation aims to create a 10-second shot that follows the choreography of Dohee from the 1Million Dance Studio to Sabrina Carpenter’s song “Expresso.”

I am drawing inspiration from the music video, which was directed by Dave Meyers, produced by Nathan Scherrer, and starred Sabrina Carpenter. I will use the muted pastel colors seen in the video in the animated character and background. The video is set in the 1950s, so I will create a low-poly environment that is reminiscent of a retro cafe.

The dance will be performed by a young waitress at the local diner, energized by too much espresso. She dances with great skill, focusing on timing and dynamic poses with just a hint of what some would say is too much enthusiasm for a 7 am shift.

New Oreo Flavors Anim

Idea: David is excited to attend the Oreo Convention, where new flavors will be announced. However, David quickly realizes that some of these flavors are not what he was hoping for. These new flavors are Smoky BBQ Labor Day Oreos, Carmel Memorial Day Oreos, and Green Tea Arbor Day Oreos, now with REAL wood!

Audio: The audio is from Dropout TV’s “Oreo CEO: Stop Making New Oreos.” Performance by Brennan Lee Mulligan.

Environment: The scene is set at a Convention Center where Oreo presents the new line of Oreo flavors.

Animation: The animation is inspired by footage that I performed. I also created several drawings to ideate and enhance the character's dynamic posing.
